LISA PARKER sterling silver OWL in flight with PENTAGRAM pendant comes with sterling Silver chain

This is an absolutely stunning, delightful and very unusual pendant depicting an Owl, symbol of wisdom, wings spread wide in flight with a pentagram enclosed in a circle and its holding a scroll ( oohh what magical secret is it carrying), in solid 925 Sterling Silver and the pentagram is gold plated.
The Owl is sacred to the Goddess Minerva, or Athene, Goddess of Wisdom, and is believed to be a symbol of wisdom itself, partly by association, but also because of its ability to watch over its environment. The Owl is also believed by some cultures to be an intermediary between the Gods and Man. The Owl symbolises wisdom, patience and insight, and is most often associated with the Crone aspect of the Goddess. Often a guide to and through the Underworld, the owl is a creature of keen sight in darkness, as well as being a swift and silent hunter.
The pendant is beautifully made and finished, and is supplied complete with a free, high-quality fine Silver-plated Snake chain.
Whether you are a follower of the ‘Old Ways’ or not, this pendant is a powerful symbol of Light and a talisman of protection. The Pentagram, or five-pointed star holds great and ancient significance. It was used in very ancient times, and was the badge of the followers of Pythagoras, possibly because its proportions contain the mathematical ‘golden section’ still used today by artists and architects. It represents the five elements of magick used in the Western occult tradition – the material elements of Earth, Air, Fire, Water ruled over by Spirit, the topmost point of the star.
Silver is sacred to the Moon It is believed to carry the qualities of Invocation, Love, Psychism, Peace, Protection & Dreams. It is also used for charms to attract money. Because Silver is found in its pure form, it was one of the first metals to be used by humans. Its beauty and scarcity have caused it to be fashioned into divine images and offering pieces for many centuries.
